Lobby
Login/Register button - this button is presented in the lower right corner and remains present until you sign into the site. Note that this button is displayed across all main tabs.
Login/Register Dialogue Box - on your first visit to the cardroom, this dialogue box is presented when you select the Login/Register button in the lower right corner. Once you have registered, this box will be automatically presented at the start of each future visit to the cardroom to allow you to get signed in easily. This box allows you to sign in, register, obtain a forgotten password or simply view the cardroom.
Interactive Table List - This interactive table list appears front and center on the Lobby tab. The table list separates games by game type, with buttons at the top to choose the game type in which you are interested. You choose the table at which you wish to play from the available tables listed. Click here for additional information and ways to customize your table list according to your own references.
Link Buttons - Located across the upper region of the screen, these buttons provide access to various sections of the Planet Poker website. Note that these buttons are presented across all main tabs.
- Rules - Click this button to go to the Web page containing game rules.
- Notices - Click this button to go to the Web page containing game and promotional notices about the cardroom operation.
- Players' Area - Click this button to go to the Players' Area of website.
- Contact Us - Click this button to go to the Support page to find the most convenient way to contact our support staff.
- Manager - Click this button to go to find out more about our cardroom manager, and our high standards for cardroom operation.
Lobby Info Boxes - Wow! Planet Poker presents one of the most powerful cardroom features on the internet - our exclusive Info Boxes. Info Boxes provide you with the capability to select and display the information and features that you want, when and where you want it. There are two Info Boxes located in the lobby to the right of the table list (there are also two info boxes at the Game Window with even more features!). You make a selection in an Info Box by clicking on the blue menu button in the header or any area within the header region. The upper Info Box allows you to view the Player List or the Wait List for the selected game in the table list. The lower Info Box allows you to view the Wait List, Messages, the Notice Board and Table List Filter Options.
- Players List - identifies all the players at the table selected in the table list; includes player nickname, city and table stake.
- Wait List - identifies players wait listed for the selected game, in the order in which they will be summoned.
- Messages - contains a list of messages that the player can review and delete.
- Notice Board - contains a "hotel lobby" type of notice board where players can read general notices posted by cardroom staff.
- Table List Filter Options - allow you to filter and narrow down the games presented in the table list. As an example, you may elect to display games with 5 or more players seated.
Cardroom Statistics - located on the activity bar directly under the table list. The Cardroom Statistics provides a quick indication of the number of players at the site, the number of players in games, the amount of REAL money currently in play, the current time and a My Games button. Note that this information is displayed across all main tabs.
My Games - allows you to view a list of your current game activity including the games you are viewing or seated at. Information presented includes the game table type, the table identifier and your status at each of the listed tables. The My Games window also acts as a game summons for waitlisted tables or tournaments you have registered for. From this screen you are able to open or close a table, take a seat, or accept/decline a game summons.
Nickname/Balance Oval - once you sign into the site, your nickname and Real Money account balance are displayed in the lower right region of the lobby. Note that this information is displayed across all main tabs.
Activate Real Money Account button - this button is presented to those players that have yet to activate their real money accounts. Prior to engaging in real money games, players are required to activate their real money accounts by providing more detailed personal data. Once your real money account has been activated, this button will no longer be presented when you are signed in. Note that this button is presented across all main tabs.
Validate Email button - this button is presented to those players that have yet to validate their email addresses, and to those players that have changed their email addresses. Clicking this button provides an informational dialogue on how to validate your email address. Players must validate their email address to play in real money games and to avoid losing access to the cardroom. Once your email address is validated, this button is no longer displayed. Players can manage and change their email accounts through the User Information subtab on the Tools tab. Note that this button is presented across all main tabs.
Exit button - allows you to close the application and exit the cardroom. You will be automatically signed out.
