Integrity
The normal courtesies for traditional cardroom poker are also expected in the Internet cardroom. Additionally there are new courtesies unique to the virtual world of poker that you will want to know. We hope that all players will extend these considerations to each other when playing at Planet Poker.
- "You can think it. You can even say it. Just don't type it!"
- We encourage players of all skill levels to try their hand at Planet Poker, and we cannot tolerate intimidation or harassment of other players at the table.
- Bad beats happen in the virtual world, just as they do in a traditional poker game. The player who ought to be mucking his cards pre-flop, but persists to the end is bound to catch his card once in a while. He deserves a "Nh!" (Nice Hand) and you hope he keeps playing that way!
- Do not voice accusations or otherwise engage in a 'shouting match' with other online poker players at the table. If you have any question about the outcome of a poker hand, or the way it was played, please bring it to the attention of Planet Poker management by sending an email to us. You can also obtain a poker hand history for the previous hand through the previous hand button while at the table. To access older hands use the Hand History tab on Tools Tab.
- The accepted point to join an online poker game is on the big blind, on the button or behind the button in Hold'em. All players will be required to pay the missed blinds when entering in any other position.
- Lag - It's acceptable to bring this to the attention of a player who is lagging, but please be polite about it. Typically a player is wondering why the game is so slow without realizing that it is his/her connection that is making it seem like that. Our technical support team is ready to assist players with connection issues.
