A player must agree to the rules posted at this site, and acceptance of a seat in any game at Planet Poker will constitute an understanding of the rules contained herein. Failure to abide by the rules posted will result in corrective action to be taken by the cardroom management, and may include disqualification and/or suspension of playing privileges.

In cases where disputes arise between players, judgments of the cardroom are final, binding and conclusive in all matters.

The cardroom is not responsible for any claims for losses or damages under any condition. Online Poker players are playing against each other and not against the cardroom.

Eligibility - To be eligible to play Planet Poker online poker games at our site you must be a resident of legal age in a country where the game is not prohibited.

Age Limit - You must be 18 years of age or older.

Taxes and Duties - All taxes, duties and fees applicable in connection with any prize or prizes awarded to a player are their sole responsibility.

Play Token Sales - Players are not permitted to resell or transfer tokens to other players within the cardroom for financial compensation. Should in the assessment of management a player be found to be selling play tokens, their account will be subject to administrative action.

Participation - Play at Planet Poker is at the sole option, discretion and risk of the online poker player.

Table Stakes Only - A player can only wager the chips on the table at the beginning of a poker hand. Online poker players can only get additional tokens from their Planet Poker account between poker hands. If a poker player runs out of chips during a hand, they are considered all-in.

Do not remove money from the table during a playing session. Taking money out of the poker game and continuing to play is not allowed in a table stakes format.

Minimum Buy-In - The minimum buy-in is 10 times the small bet at Planet Poker. This means a player needs $100 to enter the $10-$20 game, $50 to enter the $5-$10 game and $30 to enter the $3-$6 game.

All-In Protection Feature (click here for an in depth discussion regarding this very important feature) - The software will protect a poker player's investment in a pot in the event of a disruption in their connection with the game server, and is not to be used to gain tactical advantage. An online poker player will be protected up to 2 times in a day. The daily all-in quota will be adjusted as Internet conditions dictate. Note that All-in protection is not active for Pot Limit, No Limit and Tournament games.

Nickname - The nickname is the only means by which online poker players identify each other in the virtual cardroom. For this reason, we must limit the frequency of nickname changes, and we will not allow nicknames that may be offensive to other players. Planet Poker reserves the right to change inappropriate choices, or those that closely resemble others already in use.

Chat Language - Abusive or offensive language will not be tolerated at Planet Poker. Chat is to be conducted in English only. Complaints will be dealt with swiftly, and may result in a suspension of playing privileges or such other action as may be required to ensure compliance. The word is "You can think it. You can even say it, just please don't type it!"
