Newly registered Players
New players are afforded a trial subscription lasting seven days so they can experience most of the benefits of a subscriber. Once the seven day trial period has elapsed and if the player has chosen not to subscribe to the site, the player will automatically become a non-subscriber.
Do I Have to Subscribe?
No. Players can continue to play at the site as a non-subscriber in perpetuity. Non-subscribers do not have access to all cardroom events, tables and amenities but can continue to enjoy the cardroom facilities. A non-subscriber can choose to subscribe at any time.
How Do I Subscribe?
Simply click on the Purchase Options button in the main lobby and choose the subscription level that best meets your playing needs.
How Much Does It Cost to Become a Subscriber?
There are three classes of subscribers each with similar privilege levels. Players can choose from anyone of several payment options.
Great White Shark - Subscription fee $35 for 30 days or $90 for 90 days or $325 yearly.
Tiger Shark - Subscription fee $20 for 30 days or $50 for 90 days or $200 yearly.
HammerHead Shark - Subscription fee $10 for 30 days or $25 for 90 days or $100 yearly.

How Do I Renew my Subscription?
Your subscription expiry date is displayed in the main lobby. Seven days prior to your subscription expiry, you will have the option to renew your subscription when you click on the Purchase Options button from the main lobby. Subscriptions are not automatically renewed and require the player to renew each time the subscription expires or is due to expire.
What Happens When My Subscription Lapses?
If a player chooses not to renew their subscription or if their subscription lapses, the player reverts to non-subscriber status and the associated privileges. The player retains their associated token account balance and access to any subscriber events that they have registered at prior to the time of their subscription expiry date.
How Do I Upgrade of Downgrade My Subscription Level?
A player that wishes to upgrade or downgrade their subscription level can do so by letting their current subscription expire and renew their next subscription at the desired level. Alternatively, players can contact us with a request and we will endeavor to assist.
Can I Cash Out My Tokens?
Planet Poker is an entertainment free play poker site and does not support cash games. All tokens at Planet Poker have no actual cash or monetary value and therefore there are no cash out provisions.
Can I Buy a Subscription for a Friend?
We do offer the capability for players to gift their non-subscribing friends a subscription as one of our purchase options.
Do I Get Anything if I Refer a Friend?
Yes. Should your friend choose to subscribe for the first time, they simply need to insert your nickname in the space provided when purchasing their subscription. You will be credit with the same amount as the initial token load associated with the subscription they purchased within 24 hours.
